Our urban forest constitutes a fantastic wood resource that today goes almost entirely to waste. It is our mission to save the valuable wood from our local tree "waste" that currently either goes to the dump, is chipped into mulch or is simply left to rot. How can we have hardwood floors and nice wood furniture without destroying tropical rain forests or expending huge amounts of energy shipping things across the world? The answer is all around us: our own Local Wood!
