Local Wood can provide kiln-dried, sterilized wood for cabinets, floors, and furniture. Rob Bjorklund, the owner, uses solar energy to heat the water for his kiln with a wood stove backup (operates at 1300). Product selection is dependent upon available species.
Products are available in various widths (ranging from 1.25 in – 5.75 in). He can provide rough, planed or tongue and groove boards. He can also provide beams in 8X6, 8X8 sizes.
If you have a tree that needs to be removed at a project site, and there is the potential for the wood to be used on the project, Rob can mill it on site or take it up to his mill on North San Marcos Road to mill and kiln dry.
We will do our best to keep the pricing and availability updated on the website. In other words, the pricing and availability is subject to change, so call and get the current prices, inventory, and a free bid.
